Something you were sent
Check a scam
Paste a text message, WhatsApp forward or link — or add a screenshot or scan a payment QR. We point out each warning sign and tell you what to do.
- You get: each warning sign, and why it matters.
- Then: what to do and where to report it.
- We never say "safe". A careful scam can avoid every sign — when money is involved, check with your bank directly.

Check a phone call
Got a call from someone claiming to be police, your bank or customs? Upload the recording and we will tell you what gave it away.

We listen for the tricks phone scammers use:
- Pretending to be police, CBI, customs or your bank
- Asking you to install AnyDesk or share your screen
- Telling you to move money to a "safe" account
- Asking for an OTP, or telling you not to tell anyone
Up to 5 minutes · Hindi, English and other Indian languages · deleted straight after the check, never stored. Only upload a call you were part of.

UPI payment tricks
10 reports in 2 weeksSomeone sends a "collect request" that looks like money coming in, a QR code "to receive payment", or claims they paid you by mistake and asks for it back.
The giveaway: You never enter your UPI PIN or scan a QR code to RECEIVE money — only to send it.
What to do: Decline the request. Check your actual balance in your bank app before returning anything to anyone.

What to do: Track it only on the courier's official website with the tracking number. Never pay through a message link.
